Seminar new Belgian Maritime code
Jeroen Villé and Armin Wintein have explained the principles of the new Belgian Maritime Code during a lunch session of Apzi-VOKA on 10 March 2020. 1 September 2020, the date on which the legislation will enter into force, is not far away, so it was time to inform the various actors in the logistics chain about their specific rights and obligations under the new legislation.

The registration of seagoing vessels under the new Shipping Code
The regulations concerning the registration of seagoing vessels will be included in the new Shipping Code. The new Shipping Code determines, among other things, the conditions for registration and the consequences thereof. Leeward summarizes the most important provisions and changes.
